UPDATED 6/2/18: Because the menu bar was getting super crowded and hard for people to use I have moved the Listings Dashboard and Add a Listing buttons to under the Venues & Vendors button. So if you want to Add, Edit or claim your listing on the queenstown wedding blog, that’s where to look! Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
UPDATED 15/1/18: I’m stoked about this improvement. If you are a Queenstown Wedding Venue or Vendor you can now Add, Edit or Claim your Listing on the Queenstown Wedding Blog. This will give you the ability to edit and add to your listing whenever and however you like. (Changes will need to be approved by me at my end before they are published). This is a huge improvement for The Queenstown Wedding Blog for both Venues/Vendors and couples planning a Queenstown Wedding. Hopefully it will mean a tonne of new Venues & Vendors listing themselves on the Blog and also regular updates from those already listed.
I have added a video (see bottom) explaining how to edit your Listing once you have added/claimed it. Apologies to any venues or vendors who experienced problems with editing your listing in the first few days of going live. It’s a learning curve for me too!
You can read a blog post about the changes to the redesigned Queenstown Wedding Blog here. If you want to view the original page listing only recommended Queenstown Wedding Venues you can check that out here.
NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL IMAGES YOU TRY TO UPLOAD ARE 700 KILOBYTES/KB IN SIZE OR SMALLER. IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT SIZE YOUR IMAGES ARE OR HOW TO RESIZE THEM EMAIL ME AT WEDDINGS@FALLON.CO.NZ AND I CAN TALK YOU THROUGH IT.
(WELL, I CAN TALK YOU THROUGH IT IF YOU’RE ON A MAC. IF YOU’RE ON A PC I MIGHT HAVE TO TRY AND BLUFF MY WAY THROUGH IT).
FYI IT IS A REQUIREMENT THAT YOU UPLOAD AT LEAST ONE IMAGE IN ORDER TO ADD A LISTING.
Update 6/1/18: This website has a default media size upload limit which will prevent you from adding images to your listing that are over approx. 750 kilobytes (kb). Ideally, your images should be no larger than 250 kb in size as too many of these large (for the web) images will slow down this site’s performance. But definitely make sure each image is 750 kb or smaller otherwise your upload will fail and you won’t be able to add your listing (because at least one image is required to complete the “Add listing” process.
