It’s been a while since my last post (sorry, work’s been crazy busy!) but I am finally catching up on things and I thought I would post something quickly here about the latest updates to The Queenstown Wedding Blog.

I have nearly finished adding the “claim your listing” functionality to the blog. There are a few technical hurdles for me to overcome at the back-end (I am not a website designer, that’s for sure!) but I hope to have enabled the “claim your listing” feature of the blog soon. This will mean that any vendor or venue out there who I have added to The Queenstown Wedding Blog can claim (and then edit, update and add to) their listing. This will hopefully mean a lot more up-to-date info and a lot more info and photos in general for all the venues and vendors listed here on the Blog.
Combined with the “add a listing” page this should allow me to grow the “venues” and “vendors” listing pages rapidly and really fill them out so this blog becomes an even more valuable resource to all you brides and grooms out there planning a Queenstown Wedding.

As soon as I can get the “claim your listing” feature working I will be contacting all the venues and vendors listed here on the Blog (some listings as you will have seen are very minimal with only website and email details and maybe one photo) and asking them to claim and update their listings.

Next week I will also be sending out bulk emails to pretty much every Queenstown Wedding Venue and Vendor I can find and inviting them to add a listing to the Blog. (My lofty goal is to get 1,000 venues and vendors listed on this Blog in the next year – wish me luck!).

Last but not least, if there are any changes or improvements you think I should make to the Blog let me know with a comment here or an email to weddings@fallon.co.nz and I’ll see what I can do!

I can’t wait until next week when I will finally have some more time to throw at adding more updates to The Queenstown Wedding Blog to start transforming it into the amazing resource I know it will become!

Stay tuned for more!

P.S. In the meantime you can check out Queenstown Wedding Venues here and the Queenstown Wedding Vendors here to start searching out your dream Queenstown Wedding Venues & Vendors.

Cheers,
Patrick
