This afternoon I got a lovely email with some amazing bride feedback from Ashley Winton (nee Anderson), the bride at the last wedding I photographed.
It turns out that Ashley is submitting her wedding to Stuff.co.nz for consideration for their wedding of the week and she wrote some lovely words to go with the photos she is submitting. I was flattered and proud and rather blown away by her kind words and I just had to share them with you.
I really do try and put my heart and soul into my photography. Wedding photography is what I do for a living but it’s also a really important part of one of the most important days in the bride and groom’s lives. For all these reasons it’s very important to me that I do a great job and that the bride and groom love their wedding photos. So to read Ashley’s kind words really made me feel very happy and (I have to admit it) a little proud. Without further ado, here’s an excerpt from Ashley’s submission to the Stuff.co.nz wedding of the week…
“Your photographer and favourite photo? Patrick Fallon is a bike aficionado and this fact, in addition to his being a talented sports action photographer, led us to him. In fact, we have discovered that he is equally a sensitive, insightful and fabulously gifted wedding photographer. He took the time to get to know us before our wedding and we enjoyed every moment he was around which meant that our photos reflect everything they should, a joyful and happy couple on one of the greatest days of their lives! No single photo can be easily chosen as a favorite when the entire collection together tells such a significant story for us amid such a stunning backdrop. I’ve selected a few that we love to share. I will note that both Patrick and I were particularly enamored of his photo of myself in the veil I made standing in front of the American flag that hangs in our home”.
