Rowena & Steven’s Trash the Dress shoot at Coronet Peak – what a day!

Ok, I really am going to have to try to keep this post short and sweet as I’ve still got quite a bit of work to do tonight and I also have to prep all my gear for another shoot tomorrow morning…But I couldn’t NOT at least put a quick post up to share a few photos and words from today’s amazing Trash the Dress shoot with Rowena & Steven at Coronet Peak Ski Area.

Steven proposed to Rowena at Coronet Peak (with a giant “Rowena, will you marry me?” spray painted in huge blue letters on the snow beneath the chair-lift they were on) last time they were in Queenstown.  So naturally, when they decided to come back to Queenstown for their honeymoon they wanted to celebrate with a Trash the Dress shoot at Coronet Peak.

So today they were once again at Coronet Peak with snowboards strapped to their feet – but this time they just happened to be n full wedding attire!  Rowena looked gorgeous and was awesome, managing to ride up on the chair-lift, wedding dress and all, like it was just another day shredding.  Steven also looked awesome in his suit.  It was a stunning day at the Peak with perfect blue skies and not a breath of wind, and we got some beautiful photos.  Anyway, enough wiffle-waffle from me, it’s time for me to wind this up.  Here are a few photos to give you a snapshot of our day…

I am a wedding photographer based in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. I have been full-time with the photography thing since 2006 and still can’t believe I get to do what I love for a job! Here are a few words that I think sum me up: I AM…tall and bald, happy, imaginative, constantly hungry, active and friendly. I LOVE…my girl, coffee, photography, fooooooood, my family and friends, riding bikes, being outside, the simple things in life, people… I love my life! I believe that wedding photography can and should be SIMPLE, NATURAL, BEAUTIFUL.
