Secret Squirrel Tip #1 – beautiful photos your wedding pro won’t take.

I have been photographing weddings for quite a few years now.  In that time, I have learned a lot of useful tips on how to help brides-to-be get the most out of their wedding day.  Some of these tips I have picked up from my beautiful brides, some I have learned from online wedding resources (such as The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Grey Likes Weddings etc) and some I figured out all on my own!

For a while now, I have been sharing these wedding tips with the world at large here on this very blog.  But I have a confession to make.  I have been secretly hoarding the very best of these wedding tips!

That’s right – you won’t find the cream of the crop of wedding tips here on my blog or, in fact, anywhere else online.  I put a hell of a lot of work into these pearls of wisdom and I don’t want to give them away to just anybody.  I call them my Secret Squirrel Wedding Tips (or SS Wedding Tips for short) and until now I have only shared them with my brides-to-be.

However, I feel these wedding tips are too good not to share with other brides-to-be out there.  At the bottom of this post you will find a (very abbreviated) sneak preview of Secret Squirrel Wedding Tip #1.  If you would like to see the full article just send an email to with “subscribe” in the subject line.  Hopefully I can now make the lives of brides-to-be such as yourself a little easier by sharing these wedding tips with you.

Good luck with all the planning and preparation and I hope you find these wedding tips helpful.

Patrick Fallon

I am a wedding photographer based in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. I have been full-time with the photography thing since 2006 and still can’t believe I get to do what I love for a job! Here are a few words that I think sum me up: I AM…tall and bald, happy, imaginative, constantly hungry, active and friendly. I LOVE…my girl, coffee, photography, fooooooood, my family and friends, riding bikes, being outside, the simple things in life, people… I love my life! I believe that wedding photography can and should be SIMPLE, NATURAL, BEAUTIFUL.
