Bride feedback – I believe that bride feedback, more than anything else, is the ultimate measure of whether or not you’re doing a good job as a wedding photographer.

I have to be honest, when I first started shooting weddings 9 years ago I found weddings hard work – super high pressure and not always a lot of fun.

However I’ve learned a lot in the past 9 years and these days I not only love shooting weddings but also have a hell of a lot of fun doing my job!  Shooting weddings has become stress-free and a hell of a lot more fun for me – and I think that my wedding photos are more natural and more beautiful as a result.

But it’s not really important what I think – it’s what my brides and grooms think of their wedding photos that matters most to me.

So I am really proud to share with you some amazing bride feedback from recent weddings I have shot.

It gives me a huge amount of pleasure to know that my brides love the photos I take for them – it’s my mission in life to make my brides happy!  So without further ado here’s the bride feedback…

Bride feedback Queenstown weddingsScott & Liz Hawker’s wedding at Lake Hayes 9/10/11

Our experience with Patrick was truely perfect from start to finish. We were nervous about organsing a photographer from overseas but from the very first email Patrick had the right mix of friendliness and professionalism. He provided us with so many different options of where we could have photos taken with the views of Queenstown, sending us pictures as examples. When the day came to finally meet Patrick he got the right impression of who we were and what we wanted straight away. He had so many fun ideas for photos and explained exactly how the photography would work on the day. On the wedding day Patrick was so friendly with our big bridal party and all our guests and helped everything run smoothly. Once we received our photos (very quickly after the wedding) we were absolutely blown away, they were perfect. He captured every expression and emotion, the photos were a true reflection of how the day was. We couldn’t possibly say how truely grateful we are for the photos we now have to look back on to.

Hi Patrick,
I just wanted to quickly write to you to thank you so much for the amazing job you did with our wedding photos. They are absolutely amazing and i cant stop looking at them. I dont think there is a dry eye in the house when we play the dvd for people.
You have such an amazing talent, and Seth and i were so lucky to have had you at our wedding. You made the whole process so relaxed and comfortable for us, and we really appreciate that. Photos are the key to remembering that night, and we will always have beautiful memories becasue of you.
I think i have watched the dvd everyday since we have been home.
I will let you know if we will need more copies, but i have a burner here so will probably just do that myself. The disks will make great stocking stuffers. Ha!
Anyway, thanks again for everything. We will always be so greatful to you for our amazing photos.
Much thanks,
Ellen
